About

I am a 5th year Ph.D. student at the Computer Science Department of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, working with Professor Indy Gupta as a member of the Distributed Protocols Research Group (DPRG).
Before starting my Ph.D., I studied Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Computer Science at the University of Thessaly, Greece.
My main research interests lie in the areas of Distributed Systems, Internet of Things, Edge Computing, State Machine Replication, Cloud Computing, Storage Systems and Software Reliability. Currently, I am working on abstractions for device and automation management in an IoT/Edge setting, optimizing replicated file systems as well as on human-computer interaction aspects of smart homes. You can find my CV here.
